you know nothing

unless you have lived it. this is about a few very different people. one is very smart and knows a lot but not because of living it; because of much research and reading, they can peg many things accurately, but i daresay their knowledge is still limited without such experience. if they do have such experiences, that is the part that they keep locked away...the part they should share. the other was very vindictive intentionally for whatever reasons, stating that they were a better person for treating me thus, but still knowing it was wildly wrong - a person does not know about being a good person until they have clearly decided and striven to be one. I'm tired of people thinking they "know" when they do not. if they truly did, their words and actions would be quite different...yet i am still willing to be surprised - and many other people do surprise me in good ways when they are actually vulnerable. Just something to think about. This said, my own lack of knowledge is very highlighted, but i would rather choose knowledge gained from shared life experiences than reading or opinions because with that comes some degree of wisdom. wisdom can be accrued through good life and bad life...and even missed altogether, but at the end of the day at least you were out there living a bit and helping someone else to do so.
